 This decisive response started in January. President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force released guidelines for opening America.

• “Opening Up America Again” is a three-phased approach that is based on the advice of public health experts and empowers our local and state officials.
• Individual states have the ability to reopen in phases and governors can tailor the roadmap to fit their needs.
• Under this plan, Americans can safely return to work as conditions allow.
• The President’s plan continues to prioritize the health and safety of the American people, especially our seniors and most vulnerable. 
• There has been critical progress made in flattening the curve thanks to the commitment of the American people.

As we continue to slow the spread of the coronavirus, President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force continue to expand testing and get supplies to areas in need.

• No American who has needed a ventilator has gone without one.
• More than 4 million coronavirus tests have been completed, about 150,000 per day.
• This is double the amount of testing done in other countries. President Trump overhauled the antiquated testing system in order to increase capacity.
• 55 Project Airbridge flights are expected in the coming days.
• The Trump Administration has delivered:
• 55 million N95 masks
• 523 million gloves
• 10.5 million surgical gowns     
• 5.9 million face shields
• 69 million surgical masks
• 8,450 federal medical station beds

The Administration is providing economic relief for workers and small businesses.

• Nearly 80 million Americans will have received the cash payments authorized in the CARES Act.
• The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is providing relief to our country’s small businesses.
• 14 years of loans has been processed in 14 days.
• More than 1.6 million loans have been approved for small businesses. 
• More than $342 billion in loans have been processed and over 4,900 lenders have participated.
• Sadly, PPP funding ran out last week. It is a disgrace that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Democrats in Congress blocked additional aid for our small businesses.
• Pelosi is more concerned about furthering her far-left political agenda than funding a program that has provided 1.6 million small businesses a lifeline during these uncertain times.
• People are losing their jobs because Democrats refuse to expand funding and help small businesses keep employees on their payroll. 
• Job-killing Democrats are no longer a party for workers. Congress must immediately pass additional funding for the PPP.

Polls continue to show Americans are approving of the President’s response efforts:

• A Fox News poll showed President Trump’s approval at an all-time high – 49%.
• A Harvard-HarrisX national poll shows 50% of respondents approve of the President’s coronavirus response.

Americans know President Trump is fighting for them during these challenging times.
