Sadly, because of the public nature of the hit pieces coming out, I have been getting questions from those who are not PCs, wondering what is going on. So, I decided to send this to everyone, not just the PCs I sent it to last Saturday. This is regarding a vote last Thursday night from the Ada County Republicans who decided the State Party is able to fund itself and should no longer burden the Counties with "dues" for their upkeep. The State Party wanted $63,000 from Ada County...money most of us felt should be saved for helping our candidates with their elections.
First I have to say a big THANK YOU to all who stuck it out to the bitter end at our meeting, and stayed to vote...which was around 9:30pm. The vote to keep the money we raise and to spend it as we see fit on candidates, passed by a HUGE margin, 90-51.
But, to the hard part. The day of our vote, sadly, there was a wildly inaccurate letter put out, and another piece, from an unknown sender on the opposing side, an equally disturbing text message. Then, the day after the vote, hit pieces started coming out in various media forms, against Ada County Chair Victor Miller especially, and all of us who voted for our budget! Angry, slanted, inaccurate, and one sided pieces are hurting us all, IE the entire Idaho Republican Party.
To those who did this, what is the matter with you? We are all better than that. What happened to unity, accepting the vote, and the ability to disagree respectfully? And, who actually benefits from this bizarre retribution? That would be the Democrats and those outside forces who want to take down Idaho. Tearing each other apart hurts all Idaho Republicans.
So, now what? The Dems would like nothing more than to watch us implode. Is that what we want? Fighting back and forth, casting aspersions on each other? I call on those perpetrators of this behavior from each side, to stop these attacks and remember who the true enemy is.
I will reiterate what I have been saying about Chairman Moon, over and over. Chairman Moon is the right person for our State Chairman job at this time because she is a phenomenal fundraiser, (raising $146,000 on her own run for State Secretary last year, and, as she stated in her speech to us Thursday night, she has already raised $100k for the State Party, plus another $50k just that day!) And, she has the ability to increase our voter base with her grassroots outreach. Mz Moon is charismatic and forceful. She could be the one to bring the entire State Party into self-sufficiency, which makes all of Idaho Republicans stronger! We all need her. And I will add that Victor Miller is the right person for Ada County Chairman at this time, because he has proven to be a great organizer, leader, and fundraiser. He has made Ada County the force it is today. We all need him.
We need each other. We all do things differently, and we don't have to always agree, but we need to remember who the true enemy is.
Be kind, be generous of spirit.

The first three words of the U.S. Constitution are "We The People" not we the government. If we don't wake up soon to the forces that are working to rob you of freedom and rights, you will soon be a slave. You will be working for the government, working by their rules and you will be facing a life that ideologies like liberalism, socialism and communism force on people.
Wake up. Read the platforms. Then decide which one you think is better for you and the future of your family.
We The People is a conservative stand that Democrats battle against. Democrats want it to say, "We the government and we the Democrats know what is best for the people." They want it to say, "We the Democrats, in order to form a more perfect dominion." WAKE UP. Get out and vote the platform. Vote Conservative. Vote Republican.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Risch, Crapo, Lummis Reintroduce Legislation Defending American Energy and Mining Industrie
WASHINGTON– U.S. Senators Jim Risch and Mike Crapo (both R-Idaho) joined Chair of the Senate Western Caucus Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) along with 14 of their colleagues to reintroduce the Protecting Our Wealth of Energy Resources (POWER) Act to prohibit the president or his secretaries of the Interior, Agriculture, or Energy from blocking energy or mineral leasing and permitting on federal lands and waters without Congressional approval.
“The President took aim at domestic energy production only hours after swearing the oath of office, and to put more salt in the wound, he sold off America’s oil reserves to pay for his self-made crisis. His actions have threatened our national security, killed high-paying jobs, and caused energy prices to skyrocket. We have vast natural resources here at home, and we need to use them. The POWER Act will prohibit the executive branch from ever unilaterally stifling American energy production again,” said Sen. Risch.
“In a time of a growing domestic energy crisis, it is imperative we protect mineral and energy leasing on federal lands. Idaho’s vast natural and mineral resources provide high-paying, quality jobs across the state and help foster a more secure supply chain as America strives for stronger energy and technology independence,” said Sen. Crapo.
“Wyoming can power the nation, and the U.S. can power the world. President Biden’s executive orders and administrative actions taking aim at energy and mineral development on public lands hurt our economy, communities across the west and the environment by forcing our nation to rely on countries with lower environmental standards for importing energy,” said Sen. Lummis. “We have borne witness to the negative impacts of these policies through record high gas prices and increased prices on goods and services we rely on every day. Not to mention, these efforts are illegal. It is time for Congress to take back its authority and to unleash American energy and mineral potential.”
“Mining across the nation provides innumerable benefits to all Americans,” Idaho Mining Association Executive Director Benjamin Davenport said. “Securing our domestic mineral supply chains are critical to protecting quality jobs for men and women across the nation, as well as defending the resources that facilitate our everyday way of life. We thank Idaho’s Senators for their continued support of the mining industry as we work to avoid these disastrous policies that limit access to our necessary resources.”
Sens. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Mike Braun (R-Ind.), Katie Britt (R-Ala), Shelly Moore Capito (R-W.V.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), John Hoeven (R-S.D.), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), James Lankford (R-Okla.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala) and Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) cosponsored the legislation.
