Vote by Absentee Ballot in Idaho
Here's what you need to know!
This is the latest information that you need to know about voting by Absentee Balot in Ada and Canyon County.
Ada County:
Due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Governor Brad Little issued a proclamation stating that the Idaho May 19th Primary Election will be conducted exclusively by absentee ballot, which means we must all vote by mail. You MUST submit a request to receive a ballot for the May 19, 2020 Primary Election. Your absentee ballot request form must be received by the Elections office by Election Day, May 19. Before requesting a ballot, make sure that you’re registered. You may register up to Election Day, May 19th. To request a ballot, complete the form below and return it to the Ada County Elections office. Your ballot must be received by the Elections office by June 2, 2020. You will receive a ballot in approximately 10 days by mail to return to the Elections office. Return your ballot by 8 p.m. on June 2 to be counted.

Canyon and other Counties:
Other counties in Idaho are following the same guidelines. Canyon County has adopted the statewide requirements that the governor mandated. They too state that during the current Coronavirus outbreak that this option will be an effective way to avoid contact with others. The dates shown above apply to Canyon County as well.
